Warranty for Recreational Use
Whether Chuck Norris used it, or your dog ate it - we got you covered by our 2-Year NO FUSS replacement warranty.
You can rest easy knowing that every product manufactured by us comes with a 2-year, no-fuss, no-questions-asked replacement warranty. Seems too good to be true, right? Well, check out the details below. If your recovery gear decides to take an unscheduled break within the first 2 years, drop us an email with a thrilling account of how it happened, and we'll set you up with a brand-new one.
Recreational Terms and Conditions:
- 1x Replacement per item allowed.
- Our 2-Year NO FUSS warranty starts ticking from the date of purchase, so keep that proof of purchase handy. The warranty period does not "reset" when the broken product is replaced.
- This warranty applies exclusively to products manufactured by Rusty 4x4, such as our Recovery Ropes, soft shackles or other fancy doodads.
- The replacement warranty is applicable to total failure. I.e. the rope has broken in half prematurely - and not because it is dirty, full of mud or a bit worn.ย
- For local clients, ship the busted rope back to us, and we'll handle the return postage. International folks, you'll unfortunately need to foot the shipping bill, thanks to the hefty fees for South African mail jet-setting abroad. ๐๐๐
Warranty for Commercial Use
All recovery gear products that is used for commercial purposes has a 1-year repair warranty. As far as possible, we will attempt to repair any recovery gear products that is used for commercial purposes or which is categorised under our Commercial Section.
Commercial Terms and Conditions:
- Should your rope or product break, please contact us with proof of payment and ship the product back to us.
- If the rope is broken, we will attempt to splice an eye into the end of the rope.
- Sometimes the rope has worked very hard and the fibres are too stiff - in which case it might not be possible to splice in a new eye / loop.
- If a repair was possible, we will ship the rope back to you via economy courier service.
- A repair can only be booked for products that has failed / broken completely. If it is showings signs of wear and tear which you are unsure of, please contact us for assistance.
- International folks, you'll unfortunately need to foot the shipping bill, thanks to the hefty fees for South African mail jet-setting abroad. ๐๐๐
