This premium winchline combo consists of a 10mm locally manufactured UHMWPE material spliced by us. It combines a UHMWPE chafe cover around the loop, with a woven chafe cover onto the front as well as a 1.5-2m sliding thick polyester chafe cover.

In addition, the winch line is paired with a 7.5-Ton fuse soft shackle, which should break before the winch line breaks.

How do I know if this winch line is right for me?

Whether you have a 9500lbs or 12000lbs winch, this winch line is more than durable enough. A winch only reaches its maximum strength on the last winding, with the force not exceeding the winch's capacity. The ideal safety rating for a winchline is 1.5x the winch's strength. This means that at 20000 - 21000 lbs, this line is fine for either size winch.

The only factor to consider is that you can spool more rope onto a 12,000lbs winch. If you have a 12000lbs winch, you can fit up to 35 meters of line, which is very valuable winching real estate! If you have a 9,500lbs or 10,000lbs winch, then the 25m length is sufficient. We give a meter of extra length with each winch line and should it be a tad too long, you can trim it, to fit the maximum amount of rope.

Specifications:

Breaking strength: 21,000 LBS / 10 Tonnes
Length: 35 Meters
Winch size: 9,500lbs - 12,000lbs

Features:

  • Static line = no stretching.
  • No stretching = safer operation without risk of kinetic release should rope or mounting break.
  • There is no need for a sandbag when using a static dyneema winch line.
  • The supplied soft shackle allows for a safe fused recovery, as the slightly lighter soft shackle protects the winch line and recovery point.

Legal Disclaimer

It is paramount to underscore that the improper use of kinetic ropes can pose severe risks to both individuals and property. Due to the remarkable stretch capability, exceeding 20% of its length, the kinetic energy generated during recovery or towing can surpass the structural limits of anchoring points, connectors (such as shackles), or the kinetic rope itself. This elastic property can lead to a potentially dangerous slingshot effect, resulting in significant harm or damage.

Rusty 4x4 assumes no liability for any injury or property damage arising from the use of these kinetic ropes. It is imperative to exercise extreme caution, adhere to safety guidelines, and receive proper training when employing such equipment in recovery operations. Safety should always be the foremost consideration when dealing with kinetic ropes to mitigate potential risks effectively.
