Well, let me tell you, when you're in the wilderness, Mother Nature becomes both your best friend and your worst enemy. Sure, those trees may seem innocent, standing tall and proud, but when your rig is in a bind, they become your lifeline. The Tree Trunk Tickler doesn't just protect those noble giants from your winch's brute force; it cradles them like a gentle hug from a long-lost friend.

Legal Disclaimer

It is paramount to underscore that the improper use of kinetic ropes can pose severe risks to both individuals and property. Due to the remarkable stretch capability, exceeding 20% of its length, the kinetic energy generated during recovery or towing can surpass the structural limits of anchoring points, connectors (such as shackles), or the kinetic rope itself. This elastic property can lead to a potentially dangerous slingshot effect, resulting in significant harm or damage.

Rusty 4x4 assumes no liability for any injury or property damage arising from the use of these kinetic ropes. It is imperative to exercise extreme caution, adhere to safety guidelines, and receive proper training when employing such equipment in recovery operations. Safety should always be the foremost consideration when dealing with kinetic ropes to mitigate potential risks effectively.

Warranty Details

We got your back!

Whether Chuck Norris used it, or your dog ate it - we got you covered by our 2-Year NO-FUS replacement warranty.

You can rest easy knowing that every product manufactured by us comes with a 2-year, no-fuss, no-questions-asked replacement warranty. Seems too good to be true, right? Well, check out the details below. If your kinetic recovery gear decides to take an unscheduled break within the first 2 years, drop us an email with a thrilling account of how it happened, and we'll set you up with a brand-new one.

Terms and Conditions:

  • 1x Replacement per item allowed.
  • Our 2-Year NO FUSS warranty starts ticking from the date of purchase, so keep that proof of purchase handy. The warranty period does not "reset" when the broken product is replaced.
  • This warranty applies exclusively to products manufactured by Rusty 4x4, such as our Recovery Ropes, soft shackles or other fancy doodads.
  • The replacement warranty is applicable to total failure. I.e. the rope has broken in half prematurely - and not because it is dirty and full of mud. Though, if you ask nicely, drop it off and we'll give it a good scrub for you ;-)
  • For local clients, ship the busted rope back to us, and we'll handle the return postage. International folks, you'll unfortunately need to foot the shipping bill, thanks to the hefty fees for South African mail jet-setting abroad. 🌍💌🚁
